Offset's GMFU is now set for Nov. 13, per Billboard, three weeks after Oct. 23. See the singles, the missing tracklist and what is still unconfirmed.

As of Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, Offset's album GMFU is set for Friday, Nov. 13, according to Billboard, which reported the date on Tuesday, Nov. 3. That is three weeks after the Oct. 23 date his label, Motown, first gave for the project. No tracklist has been published, so what you can actually plan around right now is a date, two singles and a cover.

When does Offset's GMFU come out?

Nov. 13, per Billboard. The outlet says Offset announced the new date on Instagram with the line "GMFU. THE ALBUM. 11/13." Other outlets date the change a little differently: AllHipHop and Culture + Times say he first pointed to it in an Oct. 25 post captioned "GMFU 11:13," with no explanation. Either way, Offset has not said why the release moved, and neither has Motown, according to those reports.

We could not find a confirmed release time. Major rap albums usually land at midnight ET on Friday, which would be 9 p.m. PT on Thursday, Nov. 12, but that is a pattern and not an announcement. Check the album's pre-save page on your streaming service before you stay up.

It is also a crowded Friday. The Hunger Games soundtrack album is due the same day, and we have its tracklist in a separate guide linked below.

What do we know about the album?

GMFU is short for a profane phrase, and Billboard says Offset framed it as a response to rumors about him. Billboard quotes his caption: "For too long I let people speak on my name like they know what it took to get here." The cover, according to Billboard, shows him in camouflage pants with an American flag over his head and eye black on, sitting on a stoop next to four ballet dancers.

It will be Offset's first solo album since Kiari, which came out in August 2025 and peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard 200, per the same report. Two singles are out:

  • "Something I Need" arrived in September. Outlets list Southside, Smatt Sertified and Jester Beats as producers.
  • "Every Night" with Don Toliver came out Oct. 9 on Motown. It was produced by Jaasu and samples Jodeci's 1995 song "Freek'n You," according to Billboard and the outlets covering the video, which is set in a casino.

Offset also teased an unreleased snippet over the weekend, rapping over production from FnZ and Jaasu, Billboard says.

What is confirmed and what is not?

  • Reported by Billboard: the Nov. 13 date, the cover art, the two singles and Offset's age, 35.
  • Disputed: when he first revealed the new date, Nov. 2 per Billboard or Oct. 25 per other outlets.
  • Not announced: the tracklist, the full guest list, the exact release time and the reason for the delay. Several outlets say plainly that no tracklist exists yet, so ignore any "leaked" list until Motown or Offset posts one.

Billboard also says Offset and Quavo are slated to make a final Migos project in 2027, and that the two reunited on "Away," a track on Quavo's album QROMELIFE. That is separate from GMFU, and nothing we read says Quavo appears on it.

Our take

A moved date is not unusual, but moving it with no explanation and no tracklist puts more weight on the singles to hold interest. "Every Night" has done that job: it gives listeners a Jodeci sample to latch onto, which is a smart hook for an R&B-leaning rap single. What would make us more confident the album is locked is a tracklist and a pre-save link, because a date alone has already changed once. If you want a plan, listen to the two singles this week, set a reminder for Thursday night, and treat Nov. 13 as likely but not guaranteed until the pre-save page goes up.
