01 What we stand for
Savvy VibeZ exists to help curious people find, understand and enjoy movies, games, tech, music and creative culture. We aim to be useful, honest and a pleasure to read.
02 Independence
Our editorial decisions are independent. We do not accept payment, free products or favours in exchange for coverage, scores or placement. If a company lends us a product or access for review, we will say so.
At the time of writing we do not run advertising or affiliate links. If that changes, sponsored and affiliate content will be clearly labelled and kept separate from editorial coverage.
03 Accuracy and fact-checking
We check names, dates, specifications and claims against reliable sources before we publish, and we link to important sources where we can. We separate fact from opinion, and we describe a thing as rumour or speculation when that is what it is.
04 Corrections
If we get something wrong, we want to know. Email hello@savvyvibez.com or use the contact form and choose “Correction”, with the link and what should change. We fix clear errors promptly and, when the change is significant, we add a note saying what was corrected.
05 How we review and rate
Reviews are written by someone who has actually watched, played, read, used or listened to the work. Ratings use a five-star scale in half-star steps:
- 5 stars: outstanding, among the best of its kind;
- 4 stars: very good, with minor flaws;
- 3 stars: decent, with clear strengths and weaknesses;
- 2 stars: disappointing, with real problems;
- 1 star or less: we would not recommend it.
We judge each work by what it sets out to do, the craft involved, originality and value for the audience it is made for.
06 How we use AI
Many illustrations on the Site are generated with AI image tools, and we say so on our Disclaimer page. AI-generated images are never presented as photographs of real events or people. Our editors remain responsible for everything we publish.
07 Pitches and contributors
We welcome story ideas. Use the contact form and choose “Story pitch”, tell us the idea, why it matters now and why you are the right person to write it. We read every pitch, although we cannot reply to all of them.
