Nick Cave is bringing his "Conversations With Nick Cave: An Evening of Talk and Music" show back to North America in 2027, and the first tickets go on sale this week. As of Nov. 8, 2026, an artist presale starts Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. local time, and general sales open Friday, Nov. 13, at 10 a.m. local time, according to Cave's official site. The tour runs 25 dates from April 9 to May 21, 2027.
When do Nick Cave 2027 tickets go on sale?
There are two windows, per Cave's site, Pitchfork and NME:
- Presale: Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday, Nov. 12, at 10 p.m. local time. You have to register for access first, and codes are sent to people who sign up, according to Montreal Rocks.

What is the Conversations With Nick Cave show?
It is part Q&A and part concert. Per Cave's site, the evenings pair unvetted questions from the audience with songs from his catalog at the piano. Pitchfork says the format revives his 2019 tour of the same name and blends a Q&A, live performance and career retrospective. Vancouver Sun says there are no support acts.
The tour is presented by the Red Hand Files, the online correspondence platform Cave launched in 2018 where fans send him questions. In his announcement, Cave wrote that it "feels like the right time to return to America, a different America from eight years ago." He added: "I'll have my piano with me, play some songs, and answer questions. What could possibly go wrong?"
What else is Cave doing this year?
Pitchfork notes that Cave earned an Oscar nomination this year for Best Original Song for "Train Dreams," written with Bryce Dessner for the film of the same name. In August he played a large hometown show in Brighton, where Kylie Minogue joined him as a guest.
Our take
This is analysis, not reporting. A talk-and-piano show in historic theaters, with several cities getting two nights, is built for people who want to be in the room, so we would expect the presale to matter. That is our guess, not something the reports say. If you want a seat, register today rather than waiting for Friday. Registration is not a guarantee of a code or a ticket, and the sources do not say how many presale tickets are available. The announcement also has no prices and no start times yet, so keep that in mind before booking travel.
What we do not know: ticket prices, whether more dates will be added, and the show's start times. Vancouver Sun says the Vancouver start time is TBA, though most shows at that theater start at 8 p.m.
