Chvrches have announced their first new album in six years. All The King's Men is due January 22 on Futures Music Group, and the band will tour in support of it from February through May 2027, according to Pitchfork and Stereogum.

## The album

Pitchfork reports that the album has 11 tracks, led by the single "Roses," which the band released last month. Stereogum adds that the record also includes "Conman," a song the trio debuted live earlier this year. The full tracklist runs: "Roses," "Evil," "Adore You," "Overthinker," "Royal Blue," "Comedown Tomorrow," "Friend of a Friend," "Three Out of Five," "Conman," "Jamie's Prayer" and "Faith in Flying." No new song was shared with the announcement.

Per Pitchfork, Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty paused after touring behind 2021's Screen Violence to regroup and find a way to challenge themselves while writing the follow-up. Pitchfork describes the result as indie rock inspired by Massive Attack, PJ Harvey, Nick Drake, Bert Jansch and Incredible String Band. Stereogum notes that Mayberry has since released solo work and Doherty has a project called the Leaving, and that the band reconvened in Glasgow to make the new record after working remotely on Screen Violence.

## The tour

The tour starts February 13 at Franklin Music Hall in Philadelphia and runs through May 6 at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London, according to both outlets. North American stops include:

- Brooklyn Steel in New York on February 17
- Salt Shed in Chicago on February 25
- Paramount Theater in Seattle on March 6
- Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on March 14

The band then moves to the UK and Ireland, with dates at Glasgow's O2 Academy on April 23, Dublin's 3Olympia on April 29 and Manchester's Victoria Warehouse on May 1, before the London finale. Both outlets published the complete list of dates.

## What to know

Chvrches' last album, Screen Violence, came out in 2021, so the January release ends a six-year gap between records. Pitchfork notes that the announcement follows the single "Roses" and gives fans a release date and tour schedule for 2027. Ticket on-sale details were not included in either outlet's report.
